Waste Items beginning with 'B'

  • Baking tins/trays: Tins and trays that are in good condition can be taken to your local charity shop. Any that are not in good condition can be taken a household waste recycling centre for scrap metal
  • Batteries: Find where you can get them recycled local to you e.g. retailers and supermarkets, using the recycle your electricals website. You can also take them to the household waste and recycling centre
  • Bedding (duvets and pillows): Household waste and recycling centre
  • Bedding (sheets, blankets, duvet covers, pillow cases): Textiles banks, household waste recycling centre
  • Bicycle tyres: Household waste recycling centre
  • Bicycles: Take to a second-hand cycle shops or charity shops if in working order or take to your local household waste recycling centre
  • Biscuit tins: Recycling bin (green). Metal and plastic biscuit tins are both accepted
  • Black plastics: Such as ready meal trays - general waste/non-recyclable bin (grey)
  • Bones: Food caddy
  • Books: Charity shops or household waste recycling centre
  • Bottle tops: Recycling bin (green)
  • Bread bags: General waste/non-recyclable bin (grey) or supermarket plastic film collection points
  • Bricks: Household waste recycling centre (take to the soil and rubble container)

  • Bubble wrap: General waste/non-recyclable bin (grey) or supermarket plastic film collection points
