If you have concerns regarding the welfare of a dog, please report to the RSPCA in the first instance. Call to report cruelty, neglect or animal in distress on 0300 1234 999.

You can contact the dog warden regarding your concerns but, please be aware there are limits to what actions we can take.

Microchipping

By law, all dog owners must ensure that:

• Their dog is microchipped and their details are kept up to date. Failing to comply could see a fine of up to £500.
• Their dog wears a collar and tag, with their owner’s name, address and telephone number on it.
