We’re aware some residents continue to experience low water pressure or intermittent supply, particularly in Charing, Challock and surrounding areas.
This is due to very high demand during the warm weather, along with a separate power issue affecting part of the network. South East Water have advised that this is expected to be resolved by now.
South East Water has a full incident response in place and is using tankers to support supplies.
A bottled water station remains open at Challock Village Hall, TN25 4AU
If you’re vulnerable or need extra support, you can register with South East Water’s Priority Services Register here.
We understand how disruptive this is and thank residents for their patience. Further updates will be shared as soon as we have them.
