Locally there are also good walks around Singleton Lake with lots of birdlife, and the local public house!

Farrow Court has its own Hair Salon that is run by Eden Hair and Beauty and is open 6 days a week. In addition to a Therapy room which is used by a regular Chiropodist and for beauty treatments. Rolvenden is a small rural village approximately four miles from Tenterden, the nearest town with a vast array of diverse shops and other facilities which includes a Waitrose and a Tesco. Rolvenden itself has a church, two pubs, a convenience store which delivers once a week, a Post Office and numerous clubs and societies including British Legion, WI and many more within walking distance. The village also has a weekly farmers' market. There are regular buses to Ashford, Tenterden and Hastings.
