Project Prioritisation
Applications will be prioritised for funding based on:
- Funding priorities – higher priority will be given to projects who more closely meet the funding priorities or deliver a higher number of funding priorities
- Project scope and access – higher priority will be given to projects that are easily accessible and have a higher number of users/beneficiaries
- Financial viability – higher priority will be given to projects that have the majority of funding in place to be able to deliver the project and that can show a clear financial need for the grant.
- Need – higher priority will be given to projects that can demonstrate a clear need for the project within the community and a lack of alternative projects/services in the local and neighbouring area.
- Receipt of additional ABC funding – higher priority will be given to applicants that are not receiving Council funding from another budget/source.
- Previous funding from the Community Grants Fund - higher priority will be given to applicants who have not already received grant funding from the community grants fund in the last three year financial period
