Planning Inquiries

An inquiry is the most formal of the appeal procedures and is open to the public.  It provides for the investigation into, and formal testing of, evidence, usually through the questioning (“cross examination”) of expert witnesses and other witnesses. Parties may be formally represented by advocates.

View further guidance as to how you might take part in an inquiry on the GOV.UK website.
