Turkey and Syria Earthquake appeal launched by Disasters Emergency Committee

We are deeply saddened to see the events unfolding in Turkey and Syria, following an earthquake that has tragically resulted in a monumental loss of life and the devastation of hundreds of buildings and communities across the two countries. 

The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) has launched an appeal, which Ashford will be supporting and promoting through our channels as we believe it will be one of the most effective and quickest methods where our own residents can offer support should they wish to.

Locally, our community has once again come together in times of humanitarian crisis as resident Rachel McNeil, along with the support of local businesses organised a pop-up donation point at the Ashford Designer Outlet which started on Sunday 12 February.
