This winter, the renowned Jasmin Vardimon Company concludes its momentous 25th Anniversary year with the presentation of three productions: NOW (2024), Pinocchio (2016), and ALiCE in VR Wonderland (2021). These performances will take place at JV H.O.M.E., the company’s creative playground in Ashford, Kent.

After a year of national and international touring, these final performances at the company’s home venue mark a fitting close to a year-long global celebration. Jasmin Vardimon MBE, a leading force in British dance theatre, reflects on the journey: “As we celebrate our 25th anniversary and two years at JV H.O.M.E., I’m thrilled to continue sharing unique artistic experiences with our audiences and participants. Our mission is to nurture, develop, and inspire through the art of dance.”

Throughout 2024, the Jasmin Vardimon Company toured four productions from its repertoire across the UK and China: ALiCE, ALiCE in VR Wonderland, Pinocchio, and NOW—Jasmin’s latest production. In addition to the company’s own work, Jasmin also choreographed for Carmen at the Glyndebourne Festival at the Glyndebourne Opera House.

Audiences this winter can enjoy public performances of NOW and Pinocchio, alongside special school performances. Additionally, ALiCE in VR Wonderland will be accessible to audiences and the local community throughout this period. These productions offer a rare opportunity to experience the breadth of the company’s repertoire and the culmination of 25 years of creative achievements.

The tour of NOW will continue across the UK in 2025, with performances at notable venues including York Theatre Royal, Hall for Cornwall in Truro, and the brand-new Sadler’s Wells East in London in March 2025. Tickets for these extraordinary performances can be purchased on the Jasmin Vardimon website.

The company’s work at JV H.O.M.E. since opening two years ago has been multifaceted, serving as a cultural hub for Ashford's local community, a creative space for the company, and a production venue for organisations such as Sadler's Wells and the Royal Opera House.

This year, JV H.O.M.E. has been home to Sadler’s Wells with the original 1978 cast of Pina Bausch’s Kontakthof for rehearsals of the Echoes of ’78 performances touring around Germany and the UK from 2025. The building hosting highly accomplished companies and performers is exactly what Jasmin set out to do when envisioning this creative hub. Making it a fertile ground for artistic research and creative study to sit side by side and feed into each other.

Over the past 25 years, the company has produced 18 company productions, numerous commissions for reputable venues, companies, and organisations, 14 JV2 cohorts – the Professional Development Diploma that launched in 2012, and training provided to many of the dancers that currently perform on stages worldwide. The company’s vision of nurturing talent and potential has been at the heart of what we do and has led to many educational and community projects.

The Jasmin Vardimon Company invites you to celebrate 25 years of groundbreaking creativity and to look ahead to the next chapter of inspiring dance theatre.
