Stage Two Decision Review

If the applicant is still unhappy with a decision then they may apply for a further review at Stage 2 within 28 days of the Stage 1 Decision. The decision made by Ashford Borough Council will be notified to the applicant in writing within 21 days.

Your appeal will be passed to Legal and Democratic Services who will arrange for your case to be heard at an Appeals Committee Hearing. You will be written to prior to the hearing when you will be given at least seven days notice of the hearing and further details of the process. If your appeal results in a decision that you can join the housing register, your application will be registered and backdated to the time of your original application.
