Askes Court is conveniently located in Singleton and is within 100 yards of some local shops including a Post Office, a chemist, and takeaway restaurants. There are also two doctors' surgeries and a dentist within walking distance and good public transport links to Ashford. Locally there are also good walks around Singleton Lake with lots of birdlife, and the local public house!

Hamstreet has its own Post Office, a well-stocked convenience store and small village shops. The local GP surgery is only 200 yards from the scheme. The village also has its own village hall, pub, numerous clubs and societies, and some wonderful views of the surrounding Kent countryside.

There is a large communal lounge with a fitted kitchen this leads out onto one of the courtyards. There are laundry facilities for residents to use. Farrow Court has its own Hair Salon that is run by Eden Hair and Beauty and is open 6 days a week. In addition to a Therapy room which is used by a regular Chiropodist and for beauty treatments. There is a fully assisted bathroom. There is ample storage for mobility scooters within the scheme.
Farrow Court also has the luxury of adjoining the Age UK day centre where residents are encouraged to go along and join in a range of activities and receive a cooked meal. There is a cost payable to Age UK.
HomeBridge is a recuperative care facility managed by KCC Social Services and the 12 flats for adults with Learning Disabilities are managed by KCC Learning Disability Team.

Local information
The historic village of Wye is one of Kent's prettiest, with a traditional village green, restaurants, pubs and three churches. There is a regular Farmers' Market. The village of Wye is well served by local shops, including a bank, as well as having good public transport links, including its own rail station with trains to Ashford, Canterbury and beyond.

There is an active Social Club run by the residents, this includes outings, a weekly afternoon tea and cake, fish and chip night, parties with entertainment in the lounge. Local information
Rolvenden is a small rural village approximately four miles from Tenterden, the nearest town with a vast array of diverse shops and other facilities which includes a Waitrose and a Tesco. Rolvenden itself has a church, two pubs, a convenience store which delivers once a week, a Post Office and numerous clubs and societies including British Legion, WI and many more within walking distance. The village also has a weekly farmers' market. There are regular buses to Ashford, Tenterden and Hastings.
