ModernGov App
Ashford Borough Council is committed to embracing new technology and reducing its reliance on paper. Both measures will reduce the council’s ongoing spend as well as its carbon footprint.
Members of the public are able to access committee agendas, reports and minutes electronically for all public council meetings, with the notable exception of confidential information. In addition to accessing these reports via the council’s website, this can also be done using the Modern.Gov App.
Modern.Gov App
The Modern.Gov app can be used to access the latest papers for the council’s meetings. The App is available to anyone with a mobile device, tablet or PC.
The App allows you to:
- Select the organisation you are interested in from the list of publishers, for example Ashford Borough Council, you can also subscribe to other local authorities that you may be interested in
- Choose your committees of interest
- Highlight and make comments on the agenda reports (these are visible to you only!)
- View information offline
- Find documents quickly and easily
The app will automatically update with the latest meeting papers and agenda packs when you are connected to the internet and have the app open.
