Loss Of Water
Southern Water runs a 24 hours response to any incident affecting water services.
Priority Services Register
To help vulnerable customers, they operate a Priority Services Register that is a database containing information on all customers who have a need for extra assistance, including the following:
- Home Dialysis
- Medical Condition
- Medication to be taken
- Mobility Problems
- Visual Impairment
Those on the register can benefit from additional meter reading services, alternative bill formats, talking bills, minicom service and during an incident of water outage would receive a free delivery of bottled water to their home.
You can register for this service on the Southern Water website or by Freephone at 0800 027 0800 from 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday.
Severe Weather
The snow and cold weather can cause issues with water supplies due to burst water pipes as the weather warms above freezing.
If you are experiencing any problems with your water supply, please contact your water company for more information.
