Latest update - Joint venture credit trading platform with Canterbury City Council (Autumn 2024)

In autumn 2024, Ashford Borough Council and Canterbury City Council agreed to enter into a joint venture to establish a nutrient credit trading platform.

Once established, the Joint Venture (known as Stour Environmental Credits Ltd) will buy and sell nutrient mitigation credits to developers.
