Street Collections
If you want to collect money or sell articles for charity, you need to complete an online application for permit to make a street collection or sale. You will be prompted to login or create a new account if you do not have one at present.
Applications should be made at least two weeks before the date of the collection. There is no charge for a street collection permit.
- This applies to both organisations and individuals.
- Only one cash collection is permitted in the town centre at any one time.
- Collections are permitted every day in Tenterden and only on a Friday or Saturday in Ashford.
- A charity can only apply for one date within a six-month period.
Once your collections has taken place, you need to complete a form of statement [PDF] 112KB and send to licensing, detailing how much was collected.
Please Email licensing if you have any further questions.
