Cooling Tower Notification
Cooling towers and evaporative condensers have been associated with outbreaks of Legionella. These are regulated by The Notification of Cooling Towers and Evaporative Condenser Regulations 1992, along with adiabatic cooling devices.
The regulations place a duty on anyone who has control of these types of premises to register them with us.
The main purpose of registering your cooling tower is to identify potential sources of risk. It also allows the relevant health and safety enforcing authority to monitor and inspect them.
Register your cooling tower or other device online form.
