Job Club
The last day of the Job Club is Thursday 19th December. The Job Club will reopen on Thursday 2nd January 2025.
The Job Club is open on Mondays between 9.30am – 12pm at Ashford Job Centre, International House, Dover Place, TN23 1HT.
It is also open on Thursdays 1pm–4pm in The IT Suite at: Ashford Gateway, Church Road, Ashford, TN23 1AS.
Our Employment & Support Advisor is also on hand to help you with your job searching via email. If you would like some job searching help (such as templates, tips and advice) please email jobclub@ashford.gov.uk* with your query and contact details and we will get in touch with you.

The Job Club has partnered with the Hygiene Bank. Residents visiting the Job Club for help and support with job searching, can also receive items that we have available from the hygiene bank. For more details on the Hygiene Bank, please visit here.
How we can help
Job Club staff can assist with:
- Online job searching.
- Creating email accounts.
- Registering with online job sites such as Universal Jobsmatch, Indeed, Jobs in Kent, etc.
- Updating CVs.
- Completing applications forms.
- Careers advice.
- Interview skills and techniques.
- Any other job searching activities.
The Job Club also works closely with:
- The Volunteer Centre.
- National Careers Service.
- Skills Plus.
- Hygiene Bank.
- Ashford Borough Council's Welfare Intervention Team.
The Job Club is an initiative set up and run in conjunction with Ashford Borough Council and Ashford Gateway Plus, with the assistance of a volunteer provided by the Volunteer Centre. It is a free service open to all.
