    Elwick Place, the 100,000 sq ft restaurant and leisure development in the heart of Ashford, has reached its highest point of construction as the scheme moves towards completion. A ‘topping out’ ceremony for the scheme, being developed by Stanhope PLC, was held on Thursday 12 April and was attended by Ashford Borough Council, and Stanhope’s main contractors, Lendlease, to mark this milestone.

    A series of planned improvement works to Newtown Road in Ashford are due to take place from 16th April 2018 to November 2018. The works led by McLaren and delivered by Walker Construction form part of the £90 million expansion of the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Ashford – one of Ashford Borough Council’s Big 8 projects, which aims to drive long term economic growth for the area.
