Zone C - Godinton Way

The roads within the Croudace Development (Atherfield Drive, Romney Crescent, Hythe Crescent & Pavilion View) have recently been adopted by the highway authority Kent County Council. This means they are now public roads and any previous enforcement in place should have stopped. This may leave the roads vulnerable to town centre visitor parking, reducing the number of spaces available for you to park near your home.

We are intending to introduce a new controlled zone. This will mimic our other four controlled zones, including that of nearby Godinton Road (zone D). This would allow residents to park unrestricted in a marked bay with the use of a digital permit (£35/year). Non-permit holders would be restricted to a maximum of two hours and they would not be allowed to return within four hours. Visitors to your property would be able to stay for the entire day with the use of a digital visitor parking voucher (£1/voucher).

Ashford Borough Council Civil Enforcement Officers would patrol regularly to ensure vehicles abusing the scheme would be issued a Penalty Charge Notice.
